Hughton wants good form to continue into Swansea clash

To reach the fifth round, Coventry produced one of the upsets of the competition so far, when they beat Stoke City in the third round. I thought we started well and our application was very good. Although the Sky Blues defeated out-of-form Stoke in round three you sense that a stalemate is the best they can hope for in this tie, especially given the fact that no fourth-tier side has ever eliminated two Premier League clubs in the same FA Cup campaign before. It certainly looks to be a tough match for Coventry on paper, however the magic of the FA Cup means that upsets can and do happen.

"This game is a distraction, but a good distraction". A lot of the talk to the players before the game was about attitude and the type of game that it was.

"If we didn't go into the game feeling it was winnable then there would be no point going".

Seagulls manager Chris Hughton has confirmed he will hand a debut to Locadia in the fifth round of the competition following his arrival from PSV Eindhoven in January.

Jiri Skalak and Steve Sidwell (both ankle) are Albion's only absentees.

Coventry loanee Jordan Maguire-Drew is unavailable to face his parent club while Kyel Reid is cup-tied from his loan spell at Colchester United. Captain Michael Doyle is likely to miss out through injury whilst Jack Grimmer is unlikely to be risked following a hamstring strain, with a League Two promotion push taking priority.

Brighton have only won one of their last nine games against Coventry in all competitions (D4 L4), though this is the first such meeting since a Championship defeat in December 2011.

The Seagulls have also already knocked out fellow Premier League opposition in Crystal Palace.

Locadia received a standing ovation when he was substituted with 13 minutes remaining and Hughton was pleased with the 24-year-old's instant impact and that he can now play a part in Brighton's Premier League survival bid. "A lot of the talk before the game to the players was about attitude and the type of game it was and that if you don't match the opposition's endeavour then you can make it a hard afternoon, but we started well and our application was really good". 'We were big favourites going into the game.
