The Aston Martin-Red Bull Racing-TAG Heuer RB14 vehicle will get its first test drive on Monday as Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo takes to the track at Silverstone.

Red Bull has become the third team to reveal their 2018 challenger by taking the covers off the RB14 in an online launch.

Ricciardo, who is out of contract at the end of the upcoming campaign, won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix past year, while Verstappen claimed victories at two of the final six rounds in Malaysia and Mexico.

"If this is just a test livery, please keep it, its gorgeous!" wrote one Red Bull fan on Twitter.

The team boss of the Enstone-based team admits there is work to be done in order to close the deficit they have compared to Red Bull in the aerodynamic department, with that deficit made more evident due to both teams using the same power unit. The vehicle will be shaken down by Ricciardo at Silverstone on Monday, using one of the team's "allocated" filming days'. The auto has adopted the sidpod design seen a year ago on the Ferrari.

Red Bull launched the RB14 with a special edition livery and is set to return to the familiar red and yellow colours over the coming weeks.

"Adrian [Newey, chief technical officer at Red Bull] saw that for the first time that we were able to beat Mercedes on our own and that you can race at the front when the engine is performing well".
