Duke's Marvin Bagley to make return against Syracuse

The Blue Devils have won their last four straight games, and took out Louisville on Wednesday.

These two schools have only been meeting annually for the last four years, but the Blue Devils-Orange matchup has quickly developed into a rivalry. According to oddsmakers from online sports book YouWager, the Blue Devils are 13-point favorites to beat the Orange this evening. The Orange have lost two of their last three games, and fell to North Carolina on Wednesday.

Syracuse enters this game with a 18-10 record overall.

In a sloppy affair, the No. 5 Blue Devils outworked Syracuse 60-44 behind 19 points and seven rebounds from Marvin Bagley III in the freshman's return to action after suffering a right knee sprain against North Carolina 16 days ago.

Still, the Syracuse defense kept Duke without a field goal for more than five minutes, though the visitors couldn't muster much offense of their own. During the winning streak, senior guard Grayson Allen is averaging 23.75 points per game.

Likely a top 5 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Bagley will be welcomed back with open arms, but Duke (23-5, 11-4) has been playing its best ball in league competition without him.

Duke will have a quick turnaround before visiting Virginia Tech Monday night and could clinch a double bye in the ACC tournament with a win or an N.C. State loss Sunday. Bet the Duke Blue Devils -10.5 over the Syracuse Orange in College Basketball on Saturday.

The Duke-Syracuse basketball game will be streaming on WatchESPN.
