Philips Hue outdoor connected lighting hits US, Europe this July

Back in January, Philips Hue announced it was working on outdoor smart lights ideally suited for patios, gardens, or balconies. Consumers can extend their Philips Hue smart lighting experience to any outdoor area, from the driveway and the front door to their backyard, with the new line of light bulbs, wall-mounted fixtures, low-voltage spots and path lights.

Philips isn't stopping with just white and color ambiance lights, though, as it will also offer other products like the Lucca, Tuar, Turaco, and Ludere lights in its white range.

Among the new range is a spotlight called Lily meant to "highlight the key design features in your garden, illuminating lovely flower beds, or potted plants".
