Although gas prices are not as they were months before, oil prices are volatile, according to Patrick DeHaan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy. "This could lend weight to oil prices being too high, but at the same time, we continue to see if any major disruptions occur at USA refineries to offset any devaluation in the price of oil", DeHaan said.

"We're still expecting a surge (in prices), so motorists aren't off the hook by any means yet", DeHaan said. About GasBuddy GasBuddy is the technology company changing the way more than 70 million consumers find, purchase, and save money on gasoline.
