Not only that, with this handset HMD is also planning to introduce an in-display fingerprint sensor, like seen on Vivo X20 Plus UD. But now a leak has emerged on the Internet which closely points out that the Finnish tech giant, HMD Global, is gearing to launch two smartphones with the Snapdragon 845 chipset this year.
Furthermore, the new Nokia 8 Pro smartphone would be backed up 4,000 mAh of battery capacity. NokiaPowerUser reports that the upcoming Nokia 9 flagship would have an iPhone X-like notch to accommodate the front camera, ear speaker, microphone, and other sensors. Whether or not HMD Global decides to add a notch for the Nokia 9 remains to be seen. From all the buzz surrounding Nokia 9, it has been touted as the ultimate 2018 flagship model with one of the best cameras in its class and overall design.
Interestingly, there will two different variants of this phone available in the market with 6GB and 8GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB of Memory Storage options as Internal Storage memory on the device.
Aside from leaked information, not much is known about the Nokia 9's features and specs. It has a curved edge-to-edge 5.5-inch pOLED 2K display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It'll presumably be made in collaboration with Carl Zeiss.
Earlier reports claim that the Nokia 9 is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset and it's safe to assume that it's going to have a 5.7-inch near bezel-less display at an 18:9 aspect ratio. Along with these, the company also relaunched it's 22-year-old feature phone Nokia 8110 with the support of 4G services. Google will release Android P later this year, but the first phones to get Android P will be Google's own Pixel 3 handsets. A separate report from NokiaPowerUser has shown the "hand-sketched image" of the Nokia 9 that shows the infamous - and now set to be cloned by one and all - notch.
On the camera front, the device to come with a dual camera setup. Up front, it may come with a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
