First of all, we learn that the spring update will be released on March 22nd.
The first major update for the game is coming on March 22 and comes with it, a bunch of fresh content that will keep you hunting for hours on end.
If you want to know more about the other areas of the upcoming updates, check out our page on the Deviljho Monster DLC and upcoming event quests including a Mega Man collaboration quest.
To start off with, the Deviljho is making a return to Monster Hunter by being added in the update. And the Spring Blossom Fest which is a festival for players to take part in which will also involve a lot of monster hunting. You'll have until the end of Spring Blossom Fest on 18th April at 5pm PT (20th April, 12am GMT) to unlock the weapon. This will bring an all-new look to the hub and will include daily rewards as it runs through to the 19th April. The first is for the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the victor of the community Weapon Design Contest. This event will add some decorations to the Gathering Hall and will add a nighttime fireworks show to the game for the extent of the event. The game values its multiplayer also, and with skins and crossovers such as Devil May Cry and Mega Man, it is obvious to see that Capcom is looking further into the future by expanding its universe into something that players won't be able to tear themselves away from. There'll even be a special new platter to chow down on too. You can also now no longer be hit by fellow players' attacks while carving. One extra detail worth noting is the introduction of Character Edit Vouchers, which will allow you to change your hunter's gender and appearance.
