'Stranger Things' stars reportedly land massive pay raises for Season 3

In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, it's revealed that the stars of the hit show have received a major pay raise. The kids in the B tier were making around $20,000 per episode, but will now be pulling in a whopping $250,000 per episode.

According to sources, the main actors are divided into different pay tiers. Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper) reportedly make up the "A tier" and earn up to $350,000 per episode. Cast members expected to see an increase in their salary include Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, David Harbour, and Winona Ryder.

Die hard fans of Joe Keery's Steve Harrington may be upset to hear that he's in the bottom of the salary spectrum, making about $150,000 per episode.

The stars of the nostalgic sci-fi series will earn up to $350,000 (£249,000) per episode when it returns for a third outing, sources confirmed to industry publication The Hollywood Reporter. She is expected to earned the average of Tier 1 and Tier 2 stars, United States dollars 350,000. The stars behind the massive success of the series have been able to renegotiate their salaries and have been rewarded with a whopping raise. Even though the actors were handed out bonuses of about $60,000 once it became clear that the show was a phenomenon, a renegotiation was still all but a given heading into the drama's third season. While there are "adult" ratings being given to specific shows, I don't think there should be additional features that give parents more control over access to content by allowing them to block individual movie and specific shows.

The young stars of "Stranger Things" have made the original series one of Netflix's biggest hits.

"It's not necessarily going to be bigger in scale", Matt Duffer said.

The Emmy and Golden-Globe nominated television show Outlander, which airs on Netflix, is looking to pick up some Canadians as extras on the show for their upcoming season.

That is one serious penny, but if it means plenty more series to come of binge-watching Stranger Things, that is fine by us!
