I shot at singer Parmish Verma, says Punjab gangster in Facebook post

Punjabi star Parmish Verma was shot along with a friend in Mohali on Friday night.

The two were admitted to a private hospital in Mohali.

Verma and his friend were shot in Phase 8, Industrial Area, Mohali when the duo was returning home.

Both Parmish and his friend are hospitalised, undergoing a treatment in Fortis Hospital, Mohali and are out of danger.

A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is underway.

Interestingly, the police is yet to take an action on Dhahan for his post, with sources telling Hindustan Times that they would "go according to their own investigation".

Wanted gangster, Dilpreet Singh Dhahan, in a Facebook post on Saturday, claimed responsibility for the attack as did members of the Sampat Nehra gang. The post has already been shared 41 times. Dhalan uploaded a picture on his Facebook account holding a gun with another picture of Parmish Verma with cross drown in his picture.

Dhahan was previously involved in the killing of Satnam Singh, sarpanch of Khurd village in Hoshiarpur district, who was shot dead in braod daylight outside a gurudwara on April 9, 2017.

His Facebook status says, "Bure hai ham tabhi to zinda hai ache hote to duniya jeene nhi dete" (We are bad that's why we are alive, if we were good, the world would not have let us live). Parmish's latest track Gaal Nahin garnered over 118 million views on YouTube in just three weeks.
