Donald Glover/Childish Gambino will be pulling double duty on May 5th's new episode of Saturday Night Live. Unlike the previous 11, Glover is the first to have gotten his break through comedy and acting and not music, having started out doing sketch with Derrick Comedy, then writing on 30 Rock and co-starring in Community. The news was released during tonight's John Mulaney-hosted episode of the show.

Glover joins a list of performers who doubled as both guest and host of the series, including Britney Spears, MC Hammer, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson and more. Over the weekend it was announced that Donald will stop by Saturday Night Live for the very first time in which he will serve as the musical guest (as Childish Gambino) and host. Lately, he's demonstrated his range and versatility as the star and creator of Atlanta.

However, because Donald Glover performs as musician using the name Childish Gambino, and May 4th and 5th are precious days to Star Wars fans around the world; people on Twitter made a decision to have a little fun with the news.
