In a court filing on Monday before the hearing, lawyers for Cohen argued that the government seized "documents and data regarding topics and issues that have nothing to do with the probable cause upon which the search warrant was granted in the first place". But Judge Kimba Wood rejected his efforts to mask the identity of Hannity, a client Cohen had said wanted to avoid publicity.

It is not clear if she will rule Monday or release a written decision at a later date. The judge had asked Cohen's lawyers to provide the number of clients he had who might be covered under attorney-client privilege. The actress also came for the hearing.

Michael Cohen, Trump's fiercely loyal and pugnacious lawyer, disclosed Hannity's name through one of his own lawyers at the order of the judge.

After the hearing, Daneils briefly addressed a throng of reporters outside the courthouse.

Stephen Ryan, a lawyer for Cohen, drew gasps and laughter from the public gallery when he named Hannity as the client. On Friday, The New York Times reported that Trump called Cohen that day to "check in". Another was Elliot Broidy, a Trump fundraiser who resigned from the Republican National Committee on Friday after it was revealed that he paid $1.6 million to a Playboy Playmate with whom he had an extramarital affair.

Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, will be appearing at the Mardi Gras in Springfield, Massachusetts, on June 22 and the Mardi Gras II in East Windsor on June 23, for two shows each night.
