The Warriors will host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in game one of the finals on Thursday night in the fourth straight matchup between the teams.

James went on to praise the Warriors, who have won two championships over the last three years in 2015 and 2017 - and are highly favorited to beat the Cavaliers again this time around. Golden State had trailed by 11 points earlier in the second quarter before a strong finish.

Tristan Thompson, J.R. Smith, LeBron James, Iman Shumpert and Kyrie Irving were the five active players for the Cavs, while Kevin Love and what seems to be Mo Williams step onto the court with 0.5 seconds remaining.

The NBA Finals are officially set, and Las Vegas has the Golden State Warriors heavily favored over the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the seven-game series and take home the NBA Championship for the third time in four years.

Lue was disgusted to lose this way, saying of the call being overturned with James outside the restricted area, "It's never been done, ever in the history of the game". Nearly everyone is picking the Warriors to win, and before Game 1, enough people tweeted the specific prediction that Golden State will take it in five games, that "Warriors in 5" was trending. "We've got our key people in coach D'Antoni, Tilman, James [Harden] and Chris".

Iguodala isn't feeling down about not being able to suit up for Game 1.

Durant struggled to find his stroke but wound up with 26 points on 8-for-22 shooting and nine rebounds. "However, the pain accompanying the bone bruise persists, as does inflammation of the nerve surrounding his left knee".

"Any time you have a team that's led by somebody who is considered the greatest player of all time or one of them, there's going to be an interesting sort of dynamic with the teammates", Golden State coach Steve Kerr said.

"I really hope that, before our careers are over, we can all play together", LeBron said in March 2016. He returned for the start of the second quarter to huge roars from the yellow-clad sellout crowd and scored 24 points. Golden State has won two of the past three National Basketball Association titles; James & Co. captured their lone championship in 2016 after coming back from a 3-1 series deficit.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
