Respawn’s Star Wars game titled Jedi: Fallen Order with 2019 release date

Respawn Entertainment teased its Star Wars game today during EA Play 2018 at E3.

Players assume the role of a surviving Jedi Padawan in an original story that takes place in the Dark Times when the Jedi are being hunted. It also brings up the possibility of an actual Star Wars canon story to go along with it - oh what fun! Fallen Order sounds like it'll on focus single-player and if you decide to write it off now because of the Battlefront 2 backlash, you could be missing out on something big.

Beyond that, we have few other details about the game. Timeline wise, it takes place between episodes Star Wars episode 3 and episode 4.

It was previously announced that the game will be a third-person action/adventure title.

Plus, we know from the Darth Vader (2017) comic that Quinlan Vos is indeed alive, so how incredible would it be to play him in the Star Wars storyline, if they do in fact include it within the game's contents? It is still unclear if the game will contain any multiplayer elements.

As far as when we could expect the game, Zampella noted that it would be coming out holiday 2019. Stig Asmussen, former God of War III creative director, is leading development on Jedi: Fallen Order.

Hopefully, Jedi Fallen Order will be a polished experience when it launches next year.
