Singer and actor Jackson Odell has died aged 20

No word yet on cause of death or what Odell had been doing in the sober living home.

Aside from his role on The Goldbergs, O'Dell also has guest roles on iCarly, Modern Family and Arrested Development.

In the ABC comedy The Goldbergs he played student Ari Caldwell, a friend of Erica and Lexi, and Dana's older brother.

His film career included the 2011 children's film Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. He had been involved in show business from the age of 12.

According to TMZ, Odell's family released a statement regarding the young talent's passing.

A statement, issued Sunday afternoon on the singer's @JaxnTweets Twitter account, called him a "brilliant, loving and talented soul".

Jackson often posted covers of hit songs to his YouTube account. "He had so much more to share".
