Tiger Woods moors $20m yacht 'Privacy' in marina ahead of US Open

Privacy will reportedly be docked in the Hamptons, giving the 42-year-old golfer an hour trip to Shinnecock Hills.

The 14-time major champion is now ranked 80th in the world following last weekend's Memorial Tournament, where he finished tied for 23rd.

Woods is believed to be staying on his yacht throughout the tournament, but whether he would be holed up in Montauk all week was unclear.

Not a bad place to dock a yacht. We do hope anyone aboard the Privacy is careful with any dark liquids, as there are also white silk wall coverings and white carpeting throughout much of it.

Woods bought the yacht when he married in 2004, and unsuccessfully tried to sell it in 2011.

Who will get the next invite? The area around Shinnecock Hills on the eastern end of Long Island is full of handsome rental homes and beachside hotels. It features a master suite and six other sleeping quarters, enough for 21 people to stay on board.

'Tiger Woods pulled up and asked to trade boats.

The vessel also includes a gym, movie theatre, full bar, eight-person hot tub and a scuba decompression chamber. Alas, either there were no takers or Woods changed his mind, as he's clung onto the Privacy, despite it's $2 million yearly upkeep. "Aviva III" is the 223-foot yacht owned by British billionaire Joe Lewis.
