Miles Teller to play Goose's son in 'Top Gun' sequel

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed Miles Teller has been cast in the role of Goose's son in the long-awaited sequel to Top Gun, Top Gun: Maverick.

The follow-up to the 1986 classic was confirmed in June 2017, with the new movie set to carry the title Top Gun: Maverick. The actress played Goose's partner in Top Gun, but has been selective about her on-screen appearances in the decades since her 80s and 90s heyday as America's Pixie-Cut Sweetheart.
