Walmart Pulls ‘Impeach 45’ Shirts After Calls for Boycott By Trump Supporters

Can we get Shaq to purchase a few of those shirts for Auntie Maxine Waters who chanted "Impeach 45!" to a crowd over the weekend.

Walmart removed shirts and other gear from its online marketplace bearing the phrase "Impeach 45" after supporters of US President Donald Trump lambasted the retail giant on social media.

The shirt was removed from the store's website after the Radio Television Digital News Association sent a letter to the company about the shirt, according to the group. "@Walmart has assured me that the merchandise will be down as soon as possible", Parscale said on Twitter.

The hashtag #BoycottWalmart began trending after the items, most with the words "Impeach 45", were offered on Walmart's website, Fox News reported.

Walmart sells a myriad of "Make America Great Again" items, such as hats, T-shirts and coffee mugs.

Trump supporters voiced their outrage to Walmart's "Impeach 45" clothing by calling for a boycott of the company.

It's unclear whether these are one-off incidents, or whether Walmart is systematically removing anti-Trump paraphernalia from the site.

Walmart, not long ago, was in trouble with liberals as well for a shirt it soldthat read "Rope. Tree. Journalist. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED." that was being sold from its online store a year ago. Since Walmart also sells pro-Trump clothing items, perhaps these t-shirts will be justified as a fair and balanced approach by the retailer.
