Eden Hazard still 'dreaming' of Real Madrid

Five-time Ballon d'Or victor Cristiano Ronaldo has completed his sensational transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus in a club record deal for the Italian giants.

Ronaldo is Real Madrid's top all-time goal scorer, with 451 goals since moving there in 2009.

Juventus and Real Madrid have agreed a deal for Cristiano Ronaldo worth in the region of £105m, according to Sky sources. On Thursday, beIN Sports correspondent Tancredi Palmeri suggested the Bianconeri were prepared to sell Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala to make room for Ronaldo.

He said: "Does Real make me dream less without Zidane?"

"For Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo will always be one of its greatest symbols and a unique reference for the generations to come", the club said.

Eden Hazard has once again flirted with the idea of joining Real Madrid this summer by insisting it's "everyone's dream" to play for the Spanish giants.

After nine years at the club and numerous summers of speculation, perhaps 2018 was finally going to mark Ronaldo's departure from arguably the biggest club in world football.

Be it Mbappe, Neymar, Kane or another standout star from football's showpiece event, Real Madrid need an answer - otherwise their three-year reign on the UEFA Champions League could be next to leave.

The 24-year-old has guided England to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation with six goals in four appearances at this summer's tournament - including a brace against Tunisia and a hat-trick against Panama. The JOE World Cup Minipod semi-final preview hosted by Dion Fanning and Paddy McKenna is here. "If you go to Juve, you'll be at the next World Cup not as a mascot, but as a protagonist".
