The sequel to "Mamma Mia" is everything someone who loved the original could ever want - unless what you wanted was tons of scenes of Cher and Meryl Streep together.

The 2008 film version of the hit musical featuring Abba songs was a box office triumph and 10 years later the follow-up Mamma Mia!

The film will have its Croatian premiere during the famous Pula Film Festival at Pula's historic Roman amphitheatre on Saturday night.

Speaking with TODAY about the movie (via Rolling Stone), Cher revealed that she enjoyed singing the classic disco pop music so much that she chose to put he own touch on more of the material. "Here We Go Again" world premiere on July 16, 2018.

While walking the blue carpet, Cher and Streep spent some time in front of the flashbulbs together, presumably basking in their shared glory.

The final 15-20 minutes, when the full cast is reunited on the island idyll, are on the money, money, money. Her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is left to carry on her legacy without her wild and vivacious mother, or her man Sky (Dominic Cooper) for that matter.

Here's what critics are saying about "Mamma Mia!".

Daily Mail reporter Jan Moir went on to praise former "Downton Abbey" star Lily James, who plays the role of a young Donna in the film, as saying if the new movie doesn't make a huge star of her, she would eat her glitterball earrings.

Speaking during a press conference, the Believe hitmaker - who will play Ruby Sheridan, the mother of Meryl Streep's character Donna - said she felt "really nervous" about taking on the role because the existing cast members were already close.

They will be gleefully chanting I do, I do, I do, I do, I do to Parker's sequel.
