Three hooded gunmen then jumped out of the auto, before grabbing and pistol-whipping him until he lost consciousness. The men returned to 6ix9ine's home and two of them went inside with him, while one guarded the vehicle. After pulling into his driveway, two of the suspects made their way inside the home and took an undetermined amount of jewelry and cash, authorities say. Next, they tossed the singer in the back seat of the auto and drove off. At some point, 6ix9ine was able to open the door and jump out of the auto. One gunmen began chasing him but gave it up midway. 6ix9ine then jumped into a stranger's auto, asked for help, and the stranger called 911.

After news surfaced of the action-scene-like incident that left Tekashi69 hospitalized, TMZ reports that the rapper provided officials with a completely different story from what he initially told "his people", who then told TMZ. Doctors are performing various tests, including a CT scan.

Earlier on Sunday, the MC dropped a new single, a collaboration with Nicki Minaj called "Fefe".
