Former MTV VJ Jesse Camp Reported Missing, Police Launch Investigation

Former MTV VJ Jesse Camp is no longer missing. Camp was previously homeless.

"If anyone has seen or heard from my brother since Saturday, please, please, please reach out to me or ask him to call home!" What he needs now more than anything is kindess and love ...

Camp was last seen in Riverside. His sister had first reported his disappearance on Thursday, July 19, and friends/family had been expressing concern over his unknown whereabouts on social media since then. One of Camp's ex-girlfriends called looking for him, but a stranger picked up his phone and claimed that the VJ left three bags of his belongings with him.

Marisha told authorities that her brother, whose real name is Josiah, was depressed, but not suicidal.

"She had been in contact with someone who had told her [Camp] was in Riverside a week ago, and that he's been known to travel to the Inland Empire, and Riverside, from time to time", Railsback added at the time. "(He does not need to be the subject of tabloid journalism, making everything worse)", Camp's sister writes on her Instagram story.

Jesse's friend Andrew Schwartz recently added on Facebook, "We're really anxious about him". Friends and family said he's been spending a lot of his time lately checking in on his elderly mom via phone calls but around July 11 or July 12, the calls stopped.

'I think I'm being interviewed by the New York Post - so clearly I'm not in my right head'.

Camp released the album "Jesse & The 8th Street Kidz" in 1999.
