First Look at Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate

The film explores the 1969 Manson Family murders, specifically that of Rick Dalton's famous neighbor, Sharon Tate.

Standing against a yellow backdrop and sporting Tate's signature hairstyle, a black turtleneck and matching skirt and go-go boots, Robbie closely resembles the brutally murdered star. "And I couldn't be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff", said Tarantino.

The Australian actress is due to play the ill-fated star who was murdered by the Manson family while pregnant with husband Roman Polanski's baby back in the 70s.

This will be Tarantino's first film based on true events, as Inglorious Basterds was technically set in World War II and featured key leaders including Adolf Hitler and Winston Churchill, but in an alternate history that did not follow reality.

Leo and and Brad respectively play a 'former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double, ' Deadline quoted Quentin as saying.

The Tarantino movie is set in 1969 and will loop in numerous stories of Hollywood at the time.

Back in June, Leonardo DiCaprio - who also starred alongside Robbie in The Wolf of Wall Street - gave fans a first look at the upcoming Quentin Taratino flick by sharing a photo of him and Brad Pitt - the film's other star - decked out in '60s garb.

Early plot details for the upcoming movie were revealed last November with a release date of August 9, 2019, the fiftieth anniversary of actress Sharon Tate's murder.

Sony have now moved Once Upon A Time In Hollywood's release date up by two weeks to 26 July.

The A-list cast also includes Al Pacino as DiCaprio's character's agent, Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, and Nicholas Hammond.
