‘Mighty Ducks’ Actor Shaun Weiss Arrested For Public Intoxication

More noteworthy than his arrest, however, is his mugshot.

Shaun made appearances in the odd episode in a number of shows including Charles in Charge, Webster, Empty Nest, The Cosby Show and Here and Now before The Mighty Ducks, D2: The Mighty Ducks and D3: The Mighty Ducks.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning after patrolling officers found the 38-year-old outside of a closed business complex along the main boulevard in Oroville, California. The odd behavior led officials to believe the man was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, Oroville Lt. Chris Nicodemus told People.

"He was arrested for intoxication only and no further criminal proceedings are desired at this time", a Facebook post from OPD reads.

Weiss was held until he sobered up and released without charges, according to the report.

Weiss' rep has not commented on his latest brush with the law.

The August 2017 arrest took place after a neighbourhood resident called the police to report a man stumbling around a property near the Warner Bros. studio lot. That arrest came just 5 days after he'd been sentenced to 150 days in jail for stealing $151 worth of stuff from an electronics store.

In addition to serving as the Mighty Ducks' goaltender, Weiss appeared in "Freaks and Geeks" and "King of Queens", among many other productions.

According to TMZ, his jail sentence was reduced to 12 days because of prison overcrowding. He was eager to get back to doing comedy shows.
