McHenry's father Doug is a director and producer; he produced New Jack City, Krush Groove, and the TV show Malcolm & Eddie and directed and produced House Party 2 and Jason's Lyric. "She will be examined and cause of death will be determined".

Reality star Lyric McHenry has died.

Police sources said McHenry (pictured hours before her death) was 20 weeks pregnant and in possession of cocaine. No signs of trauma were observed.

Police confirmed that McHenry - who was best known for her role in the E! reality series, EJNYC - was found unconscious on the side of a highway in the Bronx on early Tuesday morning. She wasn't wearing trousers, clad only in a pajama top and underwear according to authorities and she reportedly had a bag of cocaine in her possession.

NYPD PIO Officer Detective Brown shares with HollywoodLife.com that "The name of victim has not been released because family has not been notified and it was irresponsible for news outlets to put out the name".

In several Instagram Stories posted late Monday evening, Lyric documented her night out in the Big Apple.

Lyric captioned the picture: "Those who know know that my making it on this bike ride sans injury is major".

In her final clip, which she posted around 1 a.m., she was seen sitting next to a male friend as she blew a kiss to the camera.

Lyric's mother Jennifer had posted a sweet birthday message for her daughter last week on Instagram, writing, "Happy 26 years my handsome princess Lyric Leigh".

She previously appeared and served as a producer on close friend EJ Johnson's reality show, as well as worked as an associate producer and host for Complex Networks. "I love you ❤️ #leoseason #teamthis", he wrote.

She even has a photo of herself standing next to former First Lady Michelle Obama on her Instagram page. Just last week, Johnson took to Instagram to wish McHenry a happy birthday.

In June, McHenry called Johnson her "twin spirit for life" on his birthday.
