Chopra posted the same photo on her Instagram page, writing: "Taken. with all my heart and soul".
Priyanka's cousin Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur, producer of Priyanka's new film "The Sky is Pink", were among the first guests to arrive at the party.
Priyanka and Nick reportedly got engaged during former's birthday celebrations in London on July 18.
"I can't think of a more a flawless man for her", Parineeti posted on Instagram, urging Nick to love her "Mimi didi" because "she loves you like mad".
Friends and family members also took to Instagram to wish the happy couple.
"First I'm blessed with an incredible future brother-in-law, and now such an lovely, inside and out, future sister-in-law. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings", Priyanka wrote on Instagram as she shared some photographs from the ceremony.
Ever since Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were spotted together at last year's Met Gala, the two have been the talk of the town.
Not to be left behind was Anushka Sharma who sent lots of love to the couple. "I'm so excited to welcome you into the family".
Superwoman Lilly Singh also expressed her happiness on Twitter.
This is the first ceremony in Jonas's and Chopra's Indian wedding: becoming formally engaged before their families.
Later in the day more Bollywood celebs descended at Chopra's Mumbai residence to celebrate the couple. At the roka, Chopra teamed the ring with a yellow salwar-kameez with an embroidered white border, while Jonas kept his outfit simple and traditional in a white kurta-pyjama.
Fellow actress Alia Bhatt was in attendance at the engagement party.
