IPhone XS, XS Max, And XR Names Leaked By Apple

Ever reliable leakster Ben Geskin appears to have laid his hands on a price list for all the new iPhone XS models, even that affordable iPhone XC.

The new top model is expected to have a 6.5-inch (16.5-cm) screen with an edge-to-edge display and be called the iPhone X Plus or Max.

While the iPhone remains Apple's bread and butter, accounting for the vast amount of the firm's profits, a growing part of its business comes from other areas, such as the Apple Watch.

The rumours even suggest that Apple could come up with an updated version of its budget model the iPhone SE, but, as mentioned, these are only rumours. The image also reveals that the 5.8-inch iPhone Xs variant will be priced starting at $899 (roughly Rs. 65,400). The "butterfly" keyboard Apple has used in its recent notebook computers has suffered from reliability complaints.

Remember when Apple previous year announced a wireless charging pad that could simultaneously power an iPhone, smartwatch and AirPods? The company's smartwatch and its wireless headphones, AirPods, have gained sales momentum over the past year, and Apple is hoping to accelerate that with updates to both. In the past, Apple has set the trend for the entire mobile industry, and this year doesn't seem to be any different.

Two of the iPhone models predicted to debut on Wednesday were expected to have prices higher than the iPhone X, which has been a hot seller. It looks exactly similar to the current iPhone X, with the display notch and the vertical dual camera setup. One may expect some improvements in the battery life as well as the camera setup and performance.

Kuo also predicts that the new iPad Pro will come with the iPhone X's Face ID facial recognition system for unlocking the device and making mobile payments.

Apple's stock price went up dramatically when the company revealed the average selling price of an iPhone was going up. But in terms of improvements, it is expected that the Apple Watch Series 4 will use a bigger display and components inside it that are faster.

"I think that in the long run the watch will be a much larger business than people give it credit for; where Apple can iterate and grow", analyst Stephen Baker of NPD said. It still hasn't released that, and analysts expect the company to announce a date for it to ship.
