Golovkin jabs at 'clown' Canelo at weigh

Canelo Alvarez (left) may not be capable of finishing off Gennady Golovkin, but the champion's camp is careful that a clean, lucky punch could result in an upset. Instead, Alvarez, in an uncharacteristic move, charged at Golovkin and pressed his forehead against GGG's.

It all goes down tomorrow (Sat. September 15, 2018) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Estimated value of the signed glove is $200 U.S. This contest is open to residents of U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec) 18 years and over.

A fight that had to happen after the disputed draw in the first bout nearly didn't come to be after Alvarez tested positive for clenbuterol just before beginning training for what was supposed to be a May rematch.

The middleweight rematch the world has been waiting for is set to launch BT Sport's new pay-per-view channel, BT Sport Box Office, in spectacular style. He has had 13 world title fights and won championships at 154 and 160 pounds.

Golovkin said when Alvarez and his team approached him, "All I could feel was fear from them, and I think they did it so I couldn't look into his eyes and he couldn't look into mine".

Saturday's second meeting is expected to exceed that number thanks to a wild 12 months which included Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) failing a pair of drug tests which forced the original May 5 date to be postponed. "The error I made was there were some spots in the first fight where he was vulnerable and I didn't take advantage". "If he does that we'll be treated to a great fight". He's tried to bait Alvarez by claiming the Mexican fighter ran in the first fight and refused to engage Triple G, when in reality all Alvarez did was rely on his counter punching strength against the big puncher from Kazakhstan, who lives in Los Angeles.

Golovkin, the unbeaten WBA, WBC and IBO champion, will be chasing a place in boxing history as he attempts to make a record-breaking 21st consecutive defense of his middleweight crowns against Mexican idol Alvarez at a sold-out T-Mobile Arena.

However, the only way to watch all four fights is to order Canelo vs GGG 2 and tune in on TV.

"And if he fights him, he's going to get knocked out".

In the first fight, which The Associated Press scored as a 114-114 draw, Alvarez came on strong against Golovkin in the late rounds to pull out a draw that was controversial largely because one judge had Alvarez winning 118-110. "Injection marks were evidently there", Golovkin said.
