Maroon 5 is set to headline the Super Bowl LIII halftime show next year!

'The offer has been extended and they've pretty much accepted, ' an unnamed source told the site. If Variety's report is true, the Grammy-winning band will follow in the footsteps of Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Beyonce and Katy Perry, who all have performed at recent Super Bowls.

This year's Super Bowl will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the home of the Falcons.

While the NFL football season is just getting started, the Super Bowl halftime show may already be locked down. Their current Red Pill Blues Tour features a unique stage layout that includes two massive catwalks, turning each concert into an almost 360-degree experience because the band can move across nearly the entire arena floor. We know lead singer Adam Levine is on "The Voice" and he's talented and there are probably Maroon 5 fans reading this fuming, but - wait, who exactly are Maroon 5's fans?

The band has collaborated with a number of incredible artists over the years, most recently Cardi B on the hit song "Girls Like You". And when they do, there's going to be some fun collaborations. They have some big shoes to fill. He went on to say that they've been on the short list of performers for a while.
