Guardiola's anger leaves Manchester City without a free day

Raheem Sterling left the England over the weekend with a back injury, but Pep Guardiola says the 23-year-old is healthy enough to return to selection for City.

Leroy Sane scored on his recall as Manchester City thumped Fulham 3-0 on Saturday.

The manager is demanding improvement from City despite the victory against Fulham that keeps them on the coat-tails of Premier League pacesetters Chelsea and Liverpool.

The Cottagers' defense will likely cause them problems during the course of this season, but with Aleksandar Mitrovic firing - with four goals in as many games - the west Londoners look more than capable of retaining their Premier League status come May. "We will always strive for more". If they are dribbling and lose the dribbling it doesn't matter.

All eyes will be on Leroy Sane when Manchester City host Fulham on Saturday.

Guardiola thinks Bernardo Silva's early days at City are comparable to what Riyad Mahrez is going through following his move from Leicester City, having to be content with brief spells on the pitch.

Guardiola said: "Sergio felt something in his ankle when he jumped". He has that sense of intelligence. "You need to be strong and fast and he did it". Things used to be very different from how they are today.

It is Silva's second season at the club after signing from Monaco in summer 2017 and the Portuguese is ready to step up a level.

"There's a lot of nice strikers and midfield players and the season will be judged on 11 months, not just on three weeks or one month". "It was so hard with him being in hospital for so long, you can't stop thinking about it. You have to adapt to your teammates, to the league, the referees and I have a lot more confidence".

Silva said: 'The second season is always easier than the first one.

Raheem Sterling should be able for selection after missing the global break with a back injury, however defender Danilo will be assessed late on due to the Brazilian's ongoing ankle problems.

"He was an example and that is why I said that I don't know what will happen in the future but if I am here, this guy will stay here because he is special".

Andre Schurrle underlined Fulham's attacking intent by twice forcing Ederson into saves with long-range efforts but City could have been further ahead by half-time with the overworked Bettinelli denying Sane and Sterling.

It also said highlighted a fourth successive profitable year - this time 10.4 million pounds with a wage to revenue ratio at "a healthy" 52 percent. I was really proud of myself and everything I've done to get it.

"Back then I was living with my parents and they were getting divorced and it was the right time to get away from there, from Spain, and live a new experience".
