When arriving at the event, Meghan was seen closing her own vehicle door - which has prompted an outpouring on Twitter.

The expensive black number included a Givenchy dress costing £2,510, Aquazzura heels worth £490 and a Givenchy clutch.

Leaning in to partake in the traditional greeting, Markle was snapped making an odd expression as she met with Kiwi guests at the opening of "Oceania" at the Royal Academy of Arts.

It's an especially fitting exhibit for her to visit now, as she and Prince Harry are heading to New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Australia next month for a royal visit.

Meghan was due to meet the exhibition's curators, artists and descendants linked to the works on display.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the opening weekend of Soho House Amsterdam. The gown, designed by Clare Waight Keller, artistic director of Givenchy, divided royal fans and fashion critics alike but Meghan just gave the haters a reason to love it - and the lovers another reason to swoon.

The Duchess of Sussex looked stunning in one of her favourite designers as she arrived at her first solo engagement on Tuesday. Meghan began volunteering with the women at the Hubb Community Kitchen in January.

The real ring was designed by Prince Harry and nods to his mother, Princess Diana, who died in 1997.

Coach Core was established by the royal family in 2012 and "harnesses the power of sport and its ability to change lives and empower young people", Kensington Palace wrote.

"It's a great introduction to the sights and sounds of that part of the world", she added. "I'm so privileged to know you".
