The rapper is headed to the White House on Thursday to have lunch with President Trump, the New York Times reports.

The Times' sources say West will first meet with Kushner and then have lunch with President Trump.

They will discuss manufacturing, prison reform, gang violence and how to reduce violence in Chicago, where West grew up. "Liberals can't bully me, news can't bully me, the hip-hop community, they can't bully me".

West issued strong public support for President Trump and his policies earlier this year.

The pair previously met at Trump Tower in 2016, soon after West first voiced his support for Trump, then President-elect.

It's unclear whether the White House will open West's visit to the press.

We're sure the duo will also be talking about West' recent appearance AKA political rant on Saturday Night Live...

Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West are now both White House invitees. After the show was over, West donned a "Make America Great Again" hat and went on a tear. Wife Kim Kardashian West recently met with Trump about prison sentencing, after which the President commuted the life sentence of Alice Johnson, an African American woman who had been convicted on drug charges.

The president soon after tweeted his support of West.

It's official: The Kanye-Trump Summit is on for Thursday.

It's that very messaging which has generated significant criticism against West by some of his fellow entertainers, including rapper T.I. and singer Janelle Monae.

The 41-year-old rapper deactivated both his Twitter and Instagram accounts over the weekend, and sources have now stated that his decision was influenced by the backlash from his controversial rants he has posted since reviving his Twitter in April, in which he has voiced his support for divisive U.S. president Donald Trump.
