Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, who began dating in May this year and got engagement soon after, have reportedly called it quits.

Per the reports, the pair apparently "still has love" for each other, but things are over - at least for now - from a romantic perspective.

Sources close to Grande and Davidson told TMZ that the timing for the couple for was not right, but added that they haven't ruled out rekindling things in the future.

Neither Grande nor Davidson have commented publicly on the reports.

Ariana shocked fans back in June when she announced Pete had put a ring on it just weeks into their whirlwind romance.

Although neither Pete nor Ariana has confirmed a split, Pete has taken himself off social media. The singer has been lying low for some time now, though, as she processes not only Miller's death, but also the ongoing PTSD she has suffered since the bombing at her Manchester concert in 2017.

In a statement to People, her team said: "Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend".
