6 shot on street near north Florida stadium before NFL game

Five of the victims are male and one victim is female, and they range in age from 20s to 70s.

Three people are in critical condition.

Ron Lendvay, director of investigations for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, said several shots rang out about 12:35 p.m. Sunday on a boulevard in the stadium's general area and that five men and one woman were hit by gunfire.

Authorities hadnt yet determined the number of suspects or whether any shooter was inside or outside the vehicle, he said.

Six people have been shot at a laundromat near the Jacksonville Jaguars football stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, police have confirmed. The sheriff's office said that the game was not impacted.

Police in Jacksonville, Florida, said that six people were shot in a drive-by shooting on October 21 about a half-mile near Jaguars stadium, TIAA Bank Field.

The office said that the suspect was driving a gray-silver four-door vehicle, the Springfield News-Sun reported.

The sheriff's also said the shooting was possibly gang-related, but the investigation is ongoing.

The area surrounding the shooting is closed and the investigation is active now. Lendvay says any fans parked near the sooting scene would be able to retrieve their cars afterward.
