Shah Rukh Khan late-night birthday bash interrupted by Mumbai Police

As the fans were waiting with a bated breath for Shah Rukh Khan to launch the trailer of his film Zero, the actor emerged out of his residence Mannat for the compulsory meet-and-greet.

Starring along with SRK is Anushka Sharma as Aafia Yousufzai Bhander, who uses a wheelchair due to a neurological disease; and Katrina Kaif, who is reportedly playing a "satirised" version of an actress.

Most of the guests who were invited got quite fidgety owing to some delays.

Shah Rukh Khan's 53rd birthday party was a double treat not only for Shah Rukh Khan but also his fans. Thank you for being family and for all the memories and here's to many more. And he didn't disappoint once again as he released the trailer for the much anticipated "Zero" on his birthday. It then moves on to how Shah Rukh Khan falls in love with her and Anushka also gets impressed with his quirky nature.

He was also asked to describe the Zero filmmaker Aanand L Rai in one word. The figurine is reportedly going to be used to top a multi-tiered cake that fans will be cutting to celebrate Shah Rukh's birthday.

Very happy birthday to you Shah Rukh @iamsrk. We just can't wait to see what the finished cake looks like. He is seen holding his youngest son AbRam in his hand. She is all pomp and glamour in the film where the other two leads play deglamorized roles.

Shah Rukh unveiled the posters of Zero, featuring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, on Thursday.

Directed by Anand L Rai, Zero is all set to release on December 21.
