Starbucks unveils holiday cups and new festive drinks

After November 2, the cups are available for purchase for $2, but only if you local Starbucks still has them in stock.

A new cup: Starbucks will also release a plastic holiday cup, which can be reused, USA Today reports.

It is now introducing a limited-edition reusable red cup with its other holiday launches.

Starbucks has also detailed its annual holiday offerings. 2018 cup variations include minimalist red stripes, holly leaves meant to mimic coffee cherries, red houndstooth, and green stars. She added that customers said they "loved the tradition of Christmas".

Though Maze was sardonically referencing the history of backlash Starbucks has faced after debuting its holiday designs, his tweets highlight the increasing necessity of communicators listening to consumer feedback and considering potential crises when selecting messages and images for campaigns.

"In the afternoon, when the chain has experienced weak traffic, Starbucks is reducing the time employees spend on administrative tasks so they can focus on customer service".

Halloween is barely over, and now it's time to start thinking about Christmas, at least according to Starbucks. Instead of just one specially designed cup, this year we have 4! These join returning food favorites Gingerbread Loaf, Penguin Cake Pop, Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, Snowman Cookie, Cranberry Bliss Bar, Carved Ham and Swiss Breakfast Sandwich and Holiday Turkey Panini. The #PSL came back earlier than ever this year on August 28 and we've just received word that the famous red cups (and accompanying seasonal beverages) will be back in the USA and Canada on November 2. The holiday gifts will be available in stores in the United States and Canada starting tomorrow with more lovely, curated merchandise added throughout the season.
