WWE superstar Triple H tears pectoral muscle at Crown Jewel

Unclear if the plan was to make Hulk a part of "Crown Jewel" all along - or if he was a last-minute Plan B after John Cena and Daniel Bryan refused to participate over the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The WWE served up another massive success in Saudi Arabia on Friday as some of the sport's biggest stars thrilled and surprised a packed crowd in Riyadh at the Crown Jewel event at King Saud University Stadium.

Now the WWE are heading to the United Kingdom where Raw and SmackDown Live will take place next week and Survivor Series is just two weeks away.

The WWE made a decision to bring Hulk Hogan back for their latest offering in Saudi Arabia on Friday night and the show also featured the legendary Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement.

Let's hope this post becomes woefully out-of-date after Monday's Raw, and WWE wrote a "Drew McIntyre kicks Lesnar's ass and takes the championship" segment for tonight. WWE has not announced whether the Raw and Smackdown tag champions will face one another. He and his D-Generation X partner, Triple H, faced off against the Brothers of Destruction, Kane and The Undertaker, for the first time in WWE history.

The WWE Crown Jewel will start at 9:30 PM IST, while the kick-off show will start at 8:30 PM. The likes of Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy will all compete. Maybe Lesnar will bring along the Universal Title this time to give it an authentic WWE feel.

If you wish to watch it then you can buy it for £14.95 on Sky Box Office with live or repeat viewing.
