Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh wedding: Pictures from the grand ceremony


It was on October 21, 2018 when DeepVeer officially announced and confirmed their wedding by releasing the statement, "With the blessings of our families, it gives us vast joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November 2018".

Ranveer Singh's stylist Nitasha Gaurav shared their photos on her Instagram stories and captioned it, "Presenting the newly minted Mrs & Mr Ranveer Singh Bhavnani!"

The wedding was a two-day affair with local media reporting that two ceremonies took place, a Konkani ceremony on Wednesday followed by a Sindhi one, to reflect Deepika and Ranveer's backgrounds.

Filmmaker Karan Johar was the first among the couple's friends to congratulate them.

Priyanka Chopra, who is set to tie the knot with American singer Nick Jonas next month, called her Bajirao Mastani co-stars "insanely beautiful" and "stunning". And guess what where Ranveer's first words to Deepika after their wedding?

Deepika and Ranveer, in two wedding rituals, first in Konkani and then as per Punjabi-Sindhi customs, were pronounced husband and wife to each other on November 14 and 15, 2018 in Lake Como, Italy. "Love and happiness forever, these are such full of pyaar-wala pictures". From the "Sada Saubhagyavati Bhav" written on her pallu to her huge diamond ring, the diva's look is winning hearts of fashion critics and social media users. One on November 21 at the Leela in Bengaluru and the second will be hosted by the Singhs on November 28 at the Grand Hyatt.

Keeping it very simple, the couple only put a heart emoji in their posts while sharing some of the most romantic pictures from their wedding days.

Many people mostly Bollywood actors have posted wishes and congratulatory messages for the couple on social media. "Here's to the blissful ever after of every step you walk together", wrote actor Nimrat Kaur.
