Hootie and the Blowfish will make Colorado stop on new tour

Since the group went on hiatus in 2008, lead singer Darius Rucker has become a country music superstar, scoring four No. 1 albums and hits like "Don't Think I Don't Think About It", "Alright", and "Wagon Wheel".

When Hootie & the Blowfish revealed they were reuniting for their Group Therapy Tour and new music, fans immediately took to social media to celebrate the announcement, including Sugarland's Kristian Bush.

The Barenaked Ladies will open the show. The band formed by Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Darius Rucker and Jim "Soni" Sonefeld during their time as students at the University of SC will visit 44 cities on the tour produced by Live Nation. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Monday, 3 December at 10 a.m. PT until Thursday, 6 December at 10 p.m. PT through Citi's Private Pass program.

If you can't make the show in July, Hootie and the Blowfish and the Barenaked ladies are also coming to the Iowa State Fair on August 18, 2019.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, December 7th.

The band announced it would release a new album and embark on the 2019 "Group Therapy Tour" Monday morning. "We've been a band for pretty much 30 years now". They released their freshman Cracked Rear View album in 1994, which sold more than 21 million copies worldwide.
