Vivek Oberoi transforms into PM Narendra Modi in the poster

The biopic will be directed by Mary Kom director Omung Kumar.

The film's poster was launched in the presence of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis in 23 languages.

"I believe the film will be inspirational". PM Modi's biopic is helmed by Omang Kumar and bankrolled by Sandip S Singh and Suresh Oberoi. "This film is based on Hon @narendramodi ji's life as the Prime Minister of India", tweeted the chief minister.

The film's tagline reads as 'Deshbhakti hi meri shakti hai.', and the film's team has been working on the project for the past 2 years.

Putin and Modi talked over the phone on Monday, the Kremlin said. "The biggest challenge was to make a film on a serving prime minister", he added. Vivek was one of the guests from Bollywood who attended PM Modi's swearing-in ceremony in May 2014. The biopic appears to be aiming for as wide a film-going public as possible. It was released by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis in 23 different languages.

Oberoi also shared the poster on his Twitter account, along with the caption, "We humbly ask for your prayers and blessings on this incredible journey".

And who is playing Modi?

The actor, who made his debut as a Mumbai gangster in Company in 2002, declared that he hoped to become "a better actor and a better human being" with the biopic.

He also added, "Narendra Bhai is one of the tallest leaders not just in this country, but in the world".

Omung Kumar, the director said, "This is one of the most hard and challenging role that I will be playing in my career, because to direct a film-the biopic of a man who is one of the prolific leaders in the history of India-is the most challenging thing a director could do".
