LeBron James: Social Media 'Definitely Can't Help' Teammates in Trade Talks

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered an embarrassing 42-point loss on Tuesday night in Indiana.

But it also marked the worst loss in LeBron's career.

Both of them grabbed the rebound following a Pacers miss then the ball slipped out of both of their hands, resulting in a turnover. Talk about emasculating. Imagine being an National Basketball Association player at the free throw line, and an entire stadium reminds you that your teammate pretty much controls your whole life.

"That's just fans being fans", James told reporters. Not only did the franchise reportedly back away from the table with regard to trade discussions for Anthony Davis, but fans of the Indiana Pacers elected to lob less than ideal chants in the direction of Brandon Ingram. One offer had all five plus draft picks headed to the New Orleans Pelicans for Davis and Solomon Hill. He scored a team-high 18 and chipped in nine assists on the night.

The NBA trade deadline is set for Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. ET.

I'm not sure that will make Ingram feel much better, but it's the truth. I know that the worst thing you can do right now is be on social media. That's never happened to them before, so you'd have to ask those guys how they're dealing with it. The Pacers improved to 35-19. "I know it has to be tough, especially on our young guys". "That definitely can't help it".
