BTS to Appear at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards

It's another dream come true for BTS and Suga never go wrong.

The 61st annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 10, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

A spokesperson for BTS confirmed to ET that the band will be at the show, where they could potentially walk away with a Grammy for Best Recording Package.

Love Yourself: Tear, which produced hits like FAKE LOVE and Anpanman, cruised to the top of the Billboard 200 chart in May a year ago.

The news was earlier reported by U.S. media Variety and later on confirmed by Billboard, sending fans to celebrate on Twitter using the trend #BTSxGrammys immediately. It will be against four other LPs like Mitski's "Be the Cowboy", St Vincent's "Masseducation", The Chairman's "The Offering", and Foxhole's "Well Kept Thing".

The Straits Times reported BTS finds their global success because of their music that has a blend of hip-hop with rock and pop elements. It will be hosted by The Voice coach Alicia Keys.

As for the nominees, Kendrick Lamar is leading the pack with eight nominations (seven of which are for music from the movie Black Panther).

The Grammy Awards will air Sunday at 5 p.m. on CBS.

Who's Performing? Many of this year's musical acts will be making their debut on the GRAMMYs stage, including Brandi Carlile, Camila Cabello, Dan + Shay, H.E.R. and Shawn Mendes, along with fellow nominees Cardi B, Post Malone (with the Red Hot Chili Peppers), Janelle Monáe and Kacey Musgraves.
