Ex-Dolphin Danny Amendola to sign with Lions, according to reports

Flowers is one of the top free agents on the market and is expected to get a contract in the $17-19 million per season range after four seasons in New England. He was cut by the Dolphins last week, creating $6 million in salary-cap space for the team.

The 33-year-old Amendola has 485 career receptions for 4,684 yards with 20 touchdowns and expects to be one of Matthew Stafford's go-to receivers. "I'm as fast as I've ever been and I'm hungry as ever".

During the lead up to the offseason, the Buffalo Bills front office brass led by head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane have said they will not be neglecting addressing needs on defense. "He has every throw in the book".
