Daniel Cormier mocks Brock Lesnar on Twitter after he loses at WrestleMania

Brock Lesnar is not advertised for any more live events with WWE.

However, after Hulk Hogan made a surprise appearance to open the Showcase of the Immortals, Paul Heyman turned up to announce that if his "client", Lesnar, wasn't going to wait around and would defend his title first.

Lesnar lost his WWE Universal Title to Seth Rollins in their awaited match.

Lesnar was dispatched in quick fashion by Rollins with three curb stomps - finally relinquishing the WWE Universal Championship which he has held on-and-off for two years since winning the belt from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33.

Lesnar dropped the Universal championship in the opening bout at WrestleMania 35 in a match against Seth Rollins (real name Colby Lopez).

DC took some satisfaction in seeing Lesnar lose at Wrestlemania. "Ha, Brock got beat up", wrote the martial artist.

A match-up with heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is the most likely scenario for Lesnar, should he return.

Brock Lesnar has not fought since he battled Mark Hunt in the co-main event of UFC 200 in July of 2016.

Lesnar started the matchup in typically dominant fashion, throwing Rollins around with consummate ease.

The Tag Team Championship designs have reportedly been discussed over the past few months and now was seen as the best time to bring them in. He is also a one-time United States Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion (with Rollins), the 2015 Royal Rumble victor, and the 2014 Superstar of the Year.
