The Twitter world goes wild about Tiger Woods’ fifth Masters win

Nike has released an awesome new advertisement to celebrate Tiger Woods' Masters victory on Sunday, his first green jacket since 2005 and his first major since 2008.

The 43-year-old Woods started Sunday's final round joint second with fellow American Tony Finau, while Molinari was the man to catch, starting the day at 13-under 203.

Tiger Woods insisted he never doubted his ability to end his long wait for a 15th major title, which arrived in stunning style as he claimed a one-shot win at The Masters. After his win, they were filmed hugging him.

The victory also marked the first time Woods had reached the winner's circle at major without leading after 54 holes.

One fan joyously replied to the video, "Tiger Woods FINALLY EMBRACING HIS SON AFTER A MASTERS WIN". When I tapped in I don't know what I did, I know I screamed.

Professionally, it's an impressive comeback for sure after Woods' was forced to undergo surgeries for back and leg injuries that almost ended his career. 79-year-old Nicklaus posted on Twitter.

"My dad was here in 1997 and now I'm the dad with two kids here", he added.

The years since his last major victory have been drama-filled for Woods. Things turned around in 2018, with a win at the Tour Championship his first victory on tour in five years.

Clinging to a two-stroke lead through 11 holes following a scrappy first nine Molinari was concerned his 9-iron at the 155-yard 12 hole could get caught by a gust. After a poor chip he two-putted for a double bogey-5 to fall into a tie for the lead. The two double bogeys ended his Green Jacket bid.
