A new poster for Frozen 2 debuted on Monday, hinting at plenty of action coming up in Disney's long awaited sequel.

Sisters Anna and Elsa are set to go on a new grand adventure in Disney's "Frozen 2". Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven make a brief appearance as they look across at new lands with Elsa. A voiceover from Grand Pabbie then tells us that the past "is not what it seems" and that Elsa and her sister Anna must embark on a risky quest to "uncover the truth".

Promises Anna, "I won't let anything happen to her".

The plot for Frozen 2 is still under wraps - but we do know that the two princesses, Elsa and Anna, will embark on a risky faraway journey. The Walt Disney Animation Studios released the official trailer today, which features a few new scenes hinting at what the film be about.

"Elsa, the past is not what it seems", a voice tells her. The film's iconic song, Let It Go, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, also won an Oscar for Best Original Song.

"Why was Elsa born with magical powers?"

Buck will be back with co-director Jennifer Lee for the sequel (the two took home the Academy Award for Frozen back in 2014).

We saw the first teaser earlier this year, and now we finally have a full-length Frozen 2 trailer for you.

From there, the Frozen 2 trailer unspools the heart of the story.

"I always write from character-out, and where Elsa is and what Elsa's doing in her life, she's telling me every day".

Why does Elsa have icy superpowers in "Frozen?".

Irish release date: 22 November.
