Yannick Carrasco agrees to join Arsenal from Atletico Madrid this summer

He added: 'The Premier League is more physical, but there are also a lot of spaces to run into'.

NANJING, CHINA - MAY 05: Yannick Carrasco #10 of Dalian Yifang in action during the 8th round match of 2019 Chinese Football Association Super League (CSL) between Jiangsu Suning and Dalian Yifang at Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre on May 5, 2019 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province of China.

If reports are to be believed then the Gunners are closing in on Yannick Carrasco and the transfer could be wrapped up as early as this month.

There is no doubt that Yannick Carrasco is too good for the Chinese Super League as he is now playing his football for Dalian Yifang but the Belgian is looking for a move back Europe this summer transfer window.

Carrasco surprised everyone when he left Atletico for the cash-rich Chinese Super League in February 2018, joining Dalian Yifang.

According to SportMediaSet, Carrasco has agreed a deal to become an Arsenal player when he said in an interview that: "Negotiations are going well".

From a footballing point of view, Arsenal fans will be glad to see the back of the 2018/19 season - so it's time to look ahead at the summer transfers that could be made to prepare for the new campaign.

"I want to go back to Europe", Carrasco told Belgian publication Nieuwsblad recently.

The Belgium winger is desperate to return to Europe and especially play in the Premier League following a spell in China.

Carrasco is also capable of playing as a wing-back, which would be useful for Emery is he persists with playing three at the back. Also on the field, where I had to take my responsibility and the team had to bear.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with the Gunners on a number of occasions in the past and almost made the move to the Premier League in January.
